Light, Science & Magic Pt2.

Light. Scattered. Diffuse. Reflection. Good lighting is the management of these things. Building relationships between camera, subject and light. The naming of reflections. Direct. Diffuse
Direct: At its most basic a mirror in which we can see the light?
Diffuse: Scattered light.
Family of Angles: Those that produce direct reflection.
This determines where we should place lights. Polished surfaces reflect at the angle at which it strikes. We can then determine where the family of angles is located. In this family of angles we get a reflection of the light source and this can remove detail or include the bulb/ light in the image.
