Focal length and angle of view

As the focal length increases the angle of view reduces…… the red square in the first frame approximately mirrors the extent of the last frame. There is a reduction in the angle of view. The object is closer and isolated. Context is reduced. This can be good or bad. It can isolate a subject or establish it in relation to other objects.
